At salt 360, we're more than a float studio; we’re a community space deeply connected to the well-being of Durango. Founded by Patti Salomon, salt 360 began as a sanctuary of calm, a place where people could disconnect from sensory overload and find true rest. Patti’s vision created a space where clients could recharge, release stress, and find clarity—a foundation we’re honored to preserve and expand upon.
We—Carlos and Shaheen—now carry this vision forward, with deep gratitude for the community spirit Patti established. Durango has been our home base for nearly two decades, and we knew salt 360 was special from the moment we walked in. As new owners, we’re committed to expanding its impact while keeping the essence that brought this space to life.
Our Mission: Recharge, Reflect, and Connect
Our mission is rooted in a belief that everyone deserves a place to feel seen, understood, and heard, as this is essential to emotional well-being. Inspired by the lessons of teamwork and resilience we learned in our youth, we aim to create a space where everyone can find their own peace. It’s a team effort, and we’re here to support each other.
Our offerings include floatation therapy, an infrared sauna, and a cold plunge coming in December 2024 to bring contrast therapy to salt 360. With these services, we strive to make wellness accessible and restorative for all, and we’ve introduced “Pay What You Can” days and Giveback events to make healing available to everyone in Durango. Our partnerships with organizations like Oak Tree Youth Resource Center support the community we love and aim to help those who need it most.

“Exquisitely relaxing has been my experience floating at salt 360. Even the process of making an appointment is relaxing. Online or over the phone scheduling is effortless. From the time you walk in the door you feel like you are at home. The staff makes you feel comfortable with the preparation to float and what to expect while you are in the float chamber. The facility is inviting, clean and well kept. My experience during float sessions has been one of total relaxation for mind and body. I always come out of the chamber in a state of complete bliss.”

I have had one other sensory dep experience in the past and it was claustrophobic and a bit unprofessional. These tanks were amazing and just what I needed for some uninterrupted quiet time. Highly recommend to any who needs to chill out a bit - yet you are totally cozy while you are floating”
